What Are YOU Waiting For?
NOW is the time. YOU are the one!
In a classic scene from the 2004 animated Pixar film, The Incredibles, Bob Parr (aka Mr. Incredible) has the following exchange with a neighborhood kid on a tricycle:
[Bob notices the little boy on the tricycle staring at him for the second day in a row]
Bob: Well, what are you waiting for?
Little Boy on Tricycle: I don't know. Something amazing, I guess.
Bob: [sighs] Me too, kid.
I’ve heard it said that there are 3 types of people: those who MAKE it happen, those who WATCH it happen, and those who WONDER what happened.
All 3 of those types are within each of us. The key is to recognize who we are in any given moment and accept the response-ability to shift our persona as needed.
You have that (super)power. It is within you. It IS amazing. YOU ARE AMAZING!
